Nope still need the fix for https...

And those other checks switched back are on ICMP again not tcping

Or are we in agreement that this was only be a partial fix?

The check switched back to use ICMP? All of them, or just the switches?

Mine are still using tcping for the ones I did yesterday.

It's hard for me to say, since the tcping script does what the author scripted it to.

Are you using check_ping or check_icmp now?

Is ICMP enabled on the switches and win servers?

We just switched back the switches and MS server.

HTTPS check has never used tcping and we are still getting false-positive alerts for https.

Both because check_tcping only works for 3 ports 80,22 and 23.

The switches i do not know and have no way to get that info, as far as the MS I will have to look as MS firewall and see if that is possible.

What is the false-positive alert?

Could you show us how this check defined for HTTPS?

Also the error?

Just go into the profile i sent open nagios.txt and ctrl+f and type in https
