Show status and hide Graph

Post by mharbi »

Hi There,

I have a question regarding to hiding graphs in services making sure our customers can only see the status
of a service without being able to see the graphs. I'm not sure if its possible to choose what our customers van see sinds
i was only able to find out that i can choose witch services and hosts they can see but not more detailed like hiding graphs
of a specific service. Is there a way to do this?

Kind Regards,
Marbi

Hello, @mharbi. This can't be done as of right now. I can submit a feature request if you'd like. No guarantee that it's going to be approved at this point though. Let me know.

@mharbi, Sure. You may send a PM to one of our technicians in a month or so to inquire about a status of this feature request.
Is there no possible workaround for this?
I couldn't find a way so far. You could stop performance graphs for all users in XI if you wanted to...Could you provide some elaboration on why you think limiting some users from seeing performance graphs is useful? I can't think of a use case for this. A user is able to see graphs only for hosts and services that he was subscribed to.
