When displaying pages that refer to pings please include a legend for the acronyms...
RTA = Round-Trip Average
PL = Packet Loss
RTMAX = Maximum Round-Trip time
RTMIN = Minimum Round-Trip time
Could not find it in Nagios help and had to Google it.

Re: Bug Fix / Enhancement Request
@tmattingly, I have submitted a feature request on your behalf. At this time, I cannot say if it will be implemented. We are redoing the performance data in XI 6.0, so I would not anticipate we change much in that regard until at least then. Keep your eye on https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nag ... NGES-5.TXT in case I'm wrong about that.

Re: Bug Fix / Enhancement Request
Since you could simply add it to the online help I would expect that the time impact to make the change to be minimal. More documentation online requires us to bug you folks less. Its better to have too much doc than too little.
I'm not a programmer but I don't see it as someting to take that long since you regularly update files and it would be simply additional text in the help portion of your application.

Re: Bug Fix / Enhancement Request
Thanks for the input. We really appreciate it.
What @dwhitfield said is true. A feature request is something that may or may not be implemented.
Something like this may have to occur for other acronyms on all pages as well and not only PING is how I see it.
We have recorded your feature request, but cannot guarantee any changes until things are discussed.
Let us know if you have any more questions. Thank you.

Re: Bug Fix / Enhancement Request
Thank you for the feedback. Is there any way I can get an estimated time of at least when it would be reviewed and then approved/denied?
It just feels like you take the feedback (and I know its not this way) but it feels like it goes into a black hole and we never hear anything again.

Re: Bug Fix / Enhancement Request
As you can see in the attached screenshot, I really did submit your request. You can also see that other people respond and submit feature requests in this manner.
That said, the support team does not dictate the schedule of the developers nor the feature roadmap. We cannot give you any idea as to when the developers will look at additional feature requests, although it will almost certainly be some time after XI 5.5. If there is any delay in XI 6.0, it will be noted at https://www.nagios.com/roadmaps/
