So I've made a few BPI groups and everything seems ok. However it seems like we have to manually sync the BPI host/service groups everytime we add or remove hosts/services from the system. If we don't the BPI checks we have setup stop working, or at least they stop writing new data to the rrd file; similar to not using the bulk rename tool to rename something. We'd like to be able to track the aggregate availability/status of certain services, but we tend to add 10-50 devices a week to the system.
As devices are added, errors show up in the hostgroup/service group BPI menus, when we click the sync button, those errors go away.
Is this expected? Any tips on how we might go about automating the sync?
We're running 5.4.11 and BPI 2.6.2

Re: Automatic BPI group sync
This is going to be implemented in Nagios XI 5.5. We will be adding the auto-sync of host groups and service groups on apply configuration.
