Re: Server Mapping
I enabled it. It doesnt take me to that account login on xi. It directs to the current login or no login but not the account we enabled.
Re: Server Mapping
It seems like the multi-tenancy in Fusion is indeed (at least partially) broken. Here's what I tried:
1. I created a "test" user on my main test XI server. The "test" user is allowed to see only "localhost". 2. In Fusion, I also created a "test" user, and mapped it to the XI "test" user. 3. I logged in Nagios Fusion as "test", and enabled automatic login. 4. I click on "Main" under the "Servers" menu to access my main Nagios XI server. I logged in as "test", and I was able to only see "localhost" (as expected).
However, under many menus in Fusion (for example "Network Operations Center", "Recent Alerts", "Top Alert Producers", etc.), the "test" user is able to see hosts/services that he/she is not supposed to. We will have to do some more digging into this, and if we confirm that this is a bug (which seems to be), we will file an internal bug report, and start working on a possible solution. Our developers have been already notified about the issue.
Thanks!

Is there update about this bug?
Re: Server Mapping
The bug was partially fixed. We found an issue with the fix, and our developers are still working on it. The fix should be included in the next release of Nagios Fusion.

Re: Server Mapping
The next release of Fusion should be out sometime next week, depending on how long it is going to take to test it. This is not "set in stone", so it could be a week later. The multi-tenancy issue will be fixed with a small exception (seeing the alerts in Fusion). To explain - the mapped users will be able to see ONLY what they are supposed to see in XI (when they auto-login), but they will still be able to see "MORE" than what they are supposed to in Fusion (alerts in "Network Operations Center", "Recent Alerts", "Top Alert Producers"). There is way around seeing the alerts at this time, due to the way Fusion was built. We may be able to incorporate a fix for that in a future release, but not in this one.
