Grant access to force check on services without admin

I thought this would simply be the checkbox in the GUI for a user account labeled "Can control all objects" which has the help text stating "Allows a user to configure - acknowledge problems, schedule downtime, toggle notifications and force checks on all objects.", however, unless the user is marked as an "Admin", the user does not have access to the quick actions to force a check. Am I missing something obvious?

In short, I want to allow specific users to force the check without granting Admin access to the GUI. While I know I could do this with the "Actions" component, I am hoping to avoid a bandaid for something that looks like it should work from the configuration options available.

Nevermind, I figured it out. You have to uncheck the box that says "Has read-only access:". Please feel free to close this one out.
