phpmailer distribution list

Has anyone come across issues sending mail notifications via phpmailer to distribution list? They don't appear to work for us?

If you send mail notifications to a single email does it work?

Yes it is an exchange distribution list.

We added the distribution list as the email address of the nagiosadmin user and the nagiosadmin contact. No emails were received when testing notifications. All notification options are enabled for this user.

However, if we create a new user with the distribution list set as its email address and drop them into the admins contact group then emails were sent to the distribution list.

Any ideas as to why a distribution list email address won't work for the nagiosadmin user and contact?

Was the email address both exactly the same? (For when you created a new user and when you applied it to the nagiosadmin account before?)

I ask because if it worked for another user, but not the nagiosadmin account. Then it's possible there could be a spelling error?

Exactly the same. Copied and pasted from one to other.

Was this a newly created contact or one you had before that was working and just replaced the email address?

We have a recent profile from you, so if you could tell us the name of that contact that would be helpful.

We would like to see if they are using different notification commands.

Does the distribution email work on any other contacts? If you have tried?
