on our Nagios we have implemented different based controls on the performances counter that correctly works, there however we have realized that when Nagios only returns integer and not decimal part values… is it possible to have a more precise measurement? If so?
Cordially.

Re: Performance counter
Could you provide us some more information? Any screenshots or commands would help us a lot.
What is the check_command for the performance counter?
Does it actually return decimal values? Any command output or screenshot of this?
Are you using NSClient++? NCPA? WMI? Something else?

Re: Performance counter
What version of NSClient and check_nt do you have?
Can you take a screenshot of what it's showing in the GUI under that host?
Here's my example. Please post what yours looks like.
Code: Select all
/usr/local/nagios/libexec/check_nt -VHere's my example. Please post what yours looks like.

Re: Performance counter
That is the name of the counter, that same counter id reporting the last value. The "Media" you are seeing is in perfmon is the "Media" since you started running this counter.stefitalia wrote:But the control si for Media not for ultimo
When you query the performance counter, it can only give the Last value "Ultimo"
