Hi,
I have noticed the default notification setting will send alert every couple of minutes. This means nagios will keep sending alerts for host/service until the host/service return to normal. How can I confure NagiosXi to only send the notification for each state change? I have hundreds of hosts and services, it is not feasible to change each host/service individually, is there a global settings for this? Or a way to do it at the database level and write out the config again?
Many thanks

Re: Notification Settings
This can be accomplished with the new CCM Beta found in the post

Re: Notification Settings
How come 'check_period' is not listed as option? Is this easy to modify?
Thanks

That's why this is in BetaFlava wrote:How come 'check_period' is not listed as option? Is this easy to modify?
I'll send this request over to the developer of the new CCM
Re: Notification Settings
It would also be nice to get back feedback from the utility, at the moment there is no way of telling if it worked or not, you have to do spot check. Since this is a bulk change, it would be nice to see what value changed from to what value changed to, or allow the user to user to select new value from template.
Thanks

Re: Notification Settings
notification_period is going to take an integer as a value.
You can see what this integer is by clicking on Time Periods on the left and there is a column labeled ID that will show what needs to be added

Re: Notification Settings
Actually, this feature is not implemented, yet. That's why is not working.
We will be adding this functionality as soon as we can but it may take a while, having in mind the scope of the project.
