nagios and scheduled downtime

Post by benhank »

i understand that during scheduled downtime, nagios will not sent out notifications. Does this mean that Nagios also will not poll during that time?
i want to set nagios to not poll a device during a certain time period, is this possible?

Nagios will keep running the checks that are scheduled. If you want, you can disable host's checks temporarily. The scheduled downltime will not do it - it will just stop notifications.
