Hi,
we receive from some service checks "unwanted" notifications.
When I verify the Alert Settings of these services there are no Contacts nor Contact Groups configured.
Is there a simple way to find/troubleshoot/trace back the config which is responsible for these notifications (in this case emails)?
Br,
Philipp

Re: Troubleshooting Notifications
If there are no contact/Contact Groups assigned, they mus be being set in a templatecomfone wrote:Hi,

Look to see what template is being applied, and see if there are contacts assigned there, and if not look up the tree to another template.
It is also possible you are getting the notification because of implied inheritance whereas you have a contact_group associated with the host definition and no contacts on the service.

If this is the case and you do not want notifications for the services you can turn them off in the config.
