Update: talked to developer this will be included in Nagios XI 5.5.0 when it is released.

Hm... It is a huge showstopper for us.
We are on the way to roll out old monitoring appliance - with nagiosxi -, but without the sms sending function we cannot operate a financial institution IT infrastructure... So its a really "no good" news...
Can you give us an ETA of arriving the 5.5 release?

It is currently scheduled for Q2 this year. You can find release information for all product at https://www.nagios.com/roadmaps/
As of May 25th, 2018, all communications with Nagios Enterprises and its employees are covered under our new Privacy Policy.
