Nagios check once at 5am

Post by jkinning »

Is there a way to have Nagios just check one time at 5am? I have a PowerShell script that I'll be calling with NSClient++ to ensure a directory is present. I only need to have this check at 5am.

Wondering what the best method of accomplishing this is?

In the CCM create a time period with the following definitions

Code: Select all

sunday	05:00-05:05
monday	05:00-05:05
tuesday	05:00-05:05
wednesday	05:00-05:05
thursday	05:00-05:05
friday	05:00-05:05
saturday	00:00-05:05
Then add this timeperiod to the service with a 5 minute interval, it should fall into the range 1 time per day.

Thanks! You can close. That is what I did but double checking with the experts isn't a bad idea.

Thanks again.
