Memory And CPU Graph scheduled reports

Post by lpereira »

hello all:
I'm loocking some assistance. i was requested to create some custom reports (weekly and monthly) for CPU and Memory usage. only those two, with performaqnce graphics.

the idea is to user the scheduled reprot tool in order to send those automatically. it is possible? on the repports tab i do not see the option to add performance graphs on the reports.

help is appreciated.

thanks

I would:
place all of the Memory checks in a memory servicegroup
place all of the CPU checks in a CPU servicegroup

Run Availability Report, choosing said servicegroup, selecting the time frame you want (last week, last month
Click Advanced
check "Display service performance graphs"

Then you can schedule the report.

Repeat for each type

Excellent... that would Definetly do the trick...

One last question.. it is possible to merge CPU and Memory on a single graph?

Thanks

Multistacked graphs and show cpu and memory usage on a single graph. Find it under Home > Graphs > Graph Explorer > Multistacked Performance Graph.

Then, to do what you were looking to do before, you would have to add all the created graphs to a dashboard

then from the dashboard schedule page

see page 2 here to learn how to schedule any page as a report
