Post by thanigaivel.a »

we are trying to install nagiosxi agents on linux distributions, but due to our yum repository issues, we were unable to install the agents.
so kindly provide the steps to install manually.

Hello, @thanigaivel.a.
You could download the required packages from one of the online servers and install them on the remote offline server. You can find the list of packages here, depending on your system:
https://support.nagios.com/kb/article/n ... e-515.html

Or as an option, you could temporarily establish an internet connection to the remote server for 10 - 15 minutes just to install the NRPE and then disconnect it again.

There are also offline tarballs available for various Linux versions, however, the majority of them is maintained by individual users. So we don't really know if their builds will work flawlessly on your system. Also, it takes a while for the offline tarballs to be released, therefore they may not contain the latest available versions of NRPE.
