Utilization of license

Hi Team,

according to this document https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nag ... ctices.pdf we have observed that one license can be used for 3 instances(production,test,DR) ,can we get more information on this.we are palnning to use the same license for test,is it possible.

It is exactly as stated. You can use the same license key on your test machine (the activation key is different).

So we can use the same license for all the three instances(production,test,DR) at time,but i have small doubt that can we use all the three instances in active mode.will it affect the present running instance when i activate in other instance.

You can activate all three instances (primary monitoring/production, backup/failover, and test environment), and use all of them at the same time.

As long as you are only using only one install for production monitoring, you are within the boundaries of our licensing policy.
