Initial setup questions

Hi Support,

I have been having some issues trying to get my initial setup questions over to you so posting them here.

1) I downloaded few plugins for mongodb and redis, but I can't find them in nagiosXI configuration wizard, although they are installed. How do I attach these custom plugins to my hosts? Same goes for a plugin we may write in house to integrate graphite with nagios.
2) How do i make changes to default nagios settings? For example, it has a default to warn on 80% memory, however I need to modify the plugin to look at cache usage as well, since its complaining about memory usage while linux has all the memory in cache.
3) Once I have bunch of services like mongodb to my cluster setup, if I need to make a plugin change, can I do it globally? What is the best practice of managing templates of checks that can be changed for many hosts at once?

Once a plugin is uploaded you need to create a command definition before you can use it
