AWS AMI
The AWS build is from 2015 and won't let us install on newer AWS hardware. Is there a newer option that allows the use of the newer/cheaper AWS stuff?

I wasn't aware of this, but you can install RHEL or CentOS and then do a fullinstall.
There really wasn't any magic on our AMI images, just a base CentOS then they performed the install when you first started them.
