Recommended remote agent NRPE or NCPA?

Hello. Which remote agent if preferred by the Nagios team? Which will continue to receive the most support and enhancement work?

Hello, @awilson. Both agents are good and will continue to receive support and updates.
If you're trying to monitor a Linux server i'd say nrpe would be a more popular choice, if you're trying to monitor a Windows server I'd go with NCPA or NSClient(which can be configured to use NRPE).
