Acknowledge via email

Hi,

Is there a way to response to the Nagios email that is sent on a critical host or service alert to acknowledge the alert?

Or must the ACK must be done via the Nagios interface?

I saw a post on this https://support.nagios.com/forum/viewto ... =6&t=33414, but in the plugin description its written as it supports only gmail id's, is there any other way to acknowledge the alert.

Hi, @Johnsmit. I thought Nagios notification emails come with a link to acknowledge the problem. If you're looking for a way to respond to an email via text that is not possible. It will be much harder to set this up and also much less reliable.
