During any scheduled activity we used to configure schedule downtime for hosts and services to not to send mail or trigger event handler.
However, for the last 3 weeks schedule downtime was not working properly, because still we are receiving alerts and event handler triggers.
Meanwhile, we tried using "Bulk modification to disable event handler", eventually that also not working properly.
Note: In Event handler, we have written our customized script to trigger tickets automatically in our ticketing tool, so even during dowmtime period or disabling event handler option to "Off". Still it triggers ticket.
So kindly provide the solution.

Event handlers will continue to trigger during scheduled downtime. Notification handlers will not trigger during scheduled downtime. If your ticketing automation is an event handler, it is intended behavior that it will continue to trigger during scheduled downtime. If you don't want that, I would suggest incorporating your ticketing automation as a notification handler instead.
