Hello Team,
We are planning to migrate all servers and services of our test instance to the production instance.
Our production instance have :
6 CPU with 2.10 Ghz speed
Memory : 32GB
RamDisk : 500MB
OS : CentOS 7.4
Number of Hosts : 1385
Number of Services : 13520
Our Test instance have :
4 CPU with 2.40 Ghz speed
Memory : 32GB
OS: CentOS 7.4
Number of Hosts : 38
Number of Services : 476
We wanted to know that , prior to this migration - Do we need to do a capacity planning or increase any thing and simultaneously do we need to increase the RAMdisk size from 500 MB to 900 MB?
Need info in Migration Activity!

Adding a little more than 500 objects to a server that is already monitoring around 15,000 won't make much of a difference in most cases. Unless you are already seeing strain on your current system you should be fine.
If I may ask though, why increase the RAM disk to 900MB instead of doubling it to 1000MB? Is there a formula somewhere you used to calculate the requirements, or are you only able to add another 400MB for policy reasons?
