Hello, I'm having issues getting a trap to notify for a particular host. So far I have checked the snmpttunknown.log which my trap appeared in. I then loaded the correct MIB. After that I am now getting the event to show up in snmptt.log. When I tail that log I do show the event after a trap is sent from the host.
One thing I did notice is that the MIB shows "Normal" in the log. I would still expect to see it in the SNMP Trap service for the host but maybe not alarm or send a notification, is that correct? I have rebuilt the SNMP Trap service and made sure the snmptt service was running and restarted after changes.
I am not seeing the host in the "Unconfigured Objects" menu in the web interface. One thing I did notice in /etc/snmp/snmptt.conf was that my OID or the text associated with it was not found. This seems like the issue to me but I was questioning why it would not still be showing up in the unknown log.
Any help to troubleshoot this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Re: Trap Not Creating Event
Did you run the addmib command after adding your MIBS?

This is what will put them in the /etc/snmp/snmptt.conf
