I am new to Nagios and am currently experiencing a rather annoying issue.
I have two servers in Nagios XI that I want to monitor but not get Notifications to my email and SMS. I have unselected all users and groups from the Notifications tab, including myself, and disabled notifications for the host, yet I still receive email and SMS messages regardless of these settings. I have looked for further config changes in the Core Configuration Manager but did not see anything regarding these two hosts that would indicate why they still send notifications.
I am not really sure where to go next with this. Has anyone experienced issues like this?

Hello, @LLT. Please check if this host is inheriting notifications from a template. And did you actually select Notifications Enabled --> off under Alert Settings?
As of May 25th, 2018, all communications with Nagios Enterprises and its employees are covered under our new Privacy Policy.

After looking for the settings you described I found a link in the Advanced tab of the host called "view in Nagios Core". From that page i disabled notifications and the server finally seems to have stopped sending emails and sms messages.
I guess that is the fix for now...
Not sure why that worked but the other setting page that supposedly does the same thing would not work. Weird...
