NagiosXI notification Troubleshooting

Hi Experts,

Nagios Version: 5.4.13
OS:CentOS Linux release 7.4.1708 (Core)
Gnome is not installed

I am new to Nagios and tried to integrate Nagiosxi with servicenow using script. Below are steps performed.

1. In tactical overview enabled notifications to all hosts and services.
2. done the configuration settings of time period and manage contacts.
3. Added a shell script in manage plugins options for forwarding the alerts to servicenow
4. In core configuration-- commands configured the variables for alert description for both hosts and services.

Now this was working fine, but I had to do some changes in the script and then I reloaded the script in manage plugins but alerts are not going out Nagios xi. I checked system log file didn't get much information on notification.

Could you please advice how to troubleshoot this, which is the relevant log file to refer, what needs to be looked for and anything is missing in suggested steps.

Can you show us the script that you used to integrate Nagios XI with ServiceNow? Have you followed ALL of the steps, outlined in our official documentation?

Can you show us all of the relevant configs, e.g. the "servicenow" contact, notification command, etc.?

Are notifications sent according to the "Notifications" report? Can you show us a screenshot of the report for the relevant time period?
