How to migrate Nagios to the new server

Hello Nagios Support Team

We've Historically started XI from CentOS 6.9 3 years ago (Nagios VMWARE template) and made many customizations.

CentOS 6 is becoming old. How to migrate to CentOS 7 (preferably by using the updated VMWARE OVA from you)?

Hello, @dlukinski. You'd need to upgrade your current XI to the latest version, create a backup and restore to another VM with the same version of XI installed.

Start reading at the "Restoring Overview" section. And also take a look at the "Changed Operating System Version or Architecture" section.
