Fellow Nagios Folk and Friends,
The Host Status Summary dashlet seems to have an issue. A few clients have reported this to me. I can reproduce it in my lab. Here's the steps I can take in my lab to reproduce it:
1. Click on service status (under Home->Details).
2. Click on Down hosts (or for that matter Unhandled or Problem hosts) in the Host Status Summary dashlet.
3. Note you will not see all the Down (or Unhandled or Problem) hosts.
If you first click on Host Status (under Home->Details), then click on Down Hosts in the Host Status Summary dashlet, you see all the Down hosts.
This causes a little bit of confusion. Is it a bug?
thanks,

Re: Host Status Summary Weirdness
Not a bug.
These are designed to be used to filter the items.
For example
1. Click on service status (under Home->Details).
2. Click on Down hosts (or for that matter Unhandled or Problem hosts) in the Host Status Summary dashlet.
What you are seeing is ONLY the services that have down hosts
