I found minor bug that happens in some cases. When i have BPI as service then sometimes in critical state it shows BPI text as:
Which causes Dashboard BPI show it as
BPI service config is nothing special:
When viewing BPI directly everything looks correct.
Also i want to note that i have multi level BPI's, it means i have "sub groups" with their "sub groups" attached to "main group". Examples are in previous thread: https://support.nagios.com/forum/viewto ... 16&t=49304
As i said its nothing major but would be nice to get fixed.
Thank you

HTML tags can be allowed by enabling the "Allow HTML Tags in Host/Service Status" option under Admin > System Config > System Settings > General > General Program Settings.

Re: Nagios BPI as service
I have found few minor bugs that would be nice to get fixed. After turning "Allow HTML Tags in Host/Service Status" on, it seems that there are still few issues. For example sending out BPI service email, it has html tags, would be nice to get them removed before sending out email.
Also it seems that BPI service has only half the message: "CRITICAL - localhost : Current Load_failed is in a problem state. Group health is ignored while any" full message is "localhost : Current Load_failed is in a problem state. Group health is ignored while any essential members are in a problem state."
Another is more of a feature request than a bug. Currently BPI has no option to change Critical status text for essential members, would be very nice to have it, one available "CRITICAL Status Text" option that there is only changes status text for non essential members, once essential member goes into critical or warning state that option is ignored and static error message is being displayed "localhost : Current Load_failed is in a problem state. Group health is ignored while any essential members are in a problem state."
Note! My nagios XI has been upgraded to version 5.5.2 few days ago

Re: Nagios BPI as service
Hello!
One more thing, this "Allow HTML Tags in Host/Service Status" also breaks operation center once service hits Critical status (Essential member). It displays only 2 items, but there is 52 problems in total. And i think the root cause is this html "thingy" that is not getting formatted correctly: "Backend is in a problem state. Group health is ignored while any essential members are in a problem state.".
