Turn off emails for hosts in warning state

How can this be accomplished? I would also want to do this in bulk?

Hi Wjoyner,

Hosts do not have a Warning state notification. The notification options Hosts have are d (down), u (unreachable), r (recovery), f (flapping) s (scheduled downtime). Services do have Warning notifications though.

If you would like to remove Warning notifications on a Service, you can go to Configure > Core Config Manager > Templates > Service Templates. Then edit a current service by clicking on the service name, head to the "Alert Settings" tab, remove "Warning" from the Notification Options, and Save it.

You can also create a new service template by clicking on "Add New" and define new parameters for that service.

To do this in bulk, under "Tools" in Core Config Manager > Bulk Modifications Tool, then click on "Change Templates". Choose "Services", select the template you would like to use, and then either select the Services or Service Groups you would like to apply the Service Template to.

Another way to make modifications under the Bulk Modifications Tool is by clicking "Change a Single Config Option", selecting "Notification Options", and under "Services", leave the "w" unchecked and choose the notification states (c, u, r, f, s) you would like to receive.
Choose the Services or Service Groups you would like to apply this configuration option to, and then save the changes.
