minimum ESX host user permissions?

It looks like we're going to have to create local accounts on all our ESX hosts to monitor them. What are the minimum security requirements a user can have to allow Nagios to pull the monitoring data?

When setting up the local user they will need read-only access.

Yes, you should be able to get by with setting up a read-only user.
