How to configure Oracle database as a backend for Nagios ?

Post by sanjaymodha »

Hi,

We have a requirement in our project and we want to use Nagios with Oracle database as the backend so that Nagios can write data on Oracle.

1. How to configure Oracle database as a backend for Nagios ?
2. Is it possbile to run Nagios on Windows Operating System?

Please reply at the earliest.

Regards,
Sanjay

1. We only support Nagios XI using MySQL backend

2. Nagios XI must be installed on CentOS or RHEL 5 or 6
