Nagios Access permission

Post by maxwellmiranda »

Hi
is there a way to set access to groups so that only those services / monitors that they have access to are visible to them.

e.g.

user "dba" has access to services a,b and c
user "windowinfra" has access to d,e and f

we want to set up access in such a way that when the dba user logs in he can only see his services. the windowsinfra services will not be accessible to him
same applies to the other user i.e. if windowinfra user logs in he should not see the dba related services.

Yep, if you add a User in Admin -> Manage Users -> Add New User

And select:
Authorization Level: User

Not checking any boxes, this user will ONLY see items they are a contact for..
