Allow user to view only certain service groups?

Is there a way to limit a user's permissions to view only certain services/hosts contained within a hostgroup and service group?

Apologies if this is answered somewhere already, but I didn't have luck searching the docs.

Views for Users are limited on the host/service level

A standard user can only see the hosts/services they are a contact for.
