Parent and child

Hi,

We have parent and child relationship servers and the same we have implemented in nagios and we have tested the hosts down alert in nagios where nagios is giving host unreachable alert when child is in down state but for the services are triggering alert, so please help out in this how we can suppress the service down alert as well.

You can turn off Unreachable alerts on a per-user basis.

Click username upper right
go to "Notification Preferences"
uncheck "Host Unreachable:"

click Update Settings
