Hello,
due to many php plugins that require php version >=5.4 i was wondering if there are any known issues with nagiosXI/core on CentOS release 6.8 (Final).
Simply get the remi repo and update?
upgrade php5.3 to 5.4 or higher

i'am not upgrading nagiosxi , that is already at the last level (5.5.5) . I only want to update php from version 5.3 to 5.4 because many plugins require a version >=5.3 of php package.

Hi @CBoekhuis,
For CentOS 6, PHP 5.3.3 (backported with security patches) is the latest version of PHP available through the official CentOS package repository, and you'll need to download packages from another repository to upgrade. However, doing so, may break dependencies with other packages as well with our installer for upgrading Nagios XI.
If you are using plugins that require 5.4, I would recommended doing a fresh install on Cent OS 7 and migrating Nagios Xi from Cent OS 6 to 7 as it will be easier upgrade Nagios XI in the future.
