@dfmco, I'd like to see the error message when you try to start the service + please upload the log file:
/usr/local/nagios/var/npcd.log
As of May 25th, 2018, all communications with Nagios Enterprises and its employees are covered under our new Privacy Policy.

@dfmco, This path doesn't look right:
NPCD: Error while get file list from spooldir (/var/nagiosramdisk/nagios/spool/perfdata/) - No such file or directory
It should be:
/var/nagiosramdisk/spool/perfdata/
Did you change the last path correctly to --> /var/nagiosramdisk/spool/perfdata/, or did you change it to --> /var/nagiosramdisk/nagios/spool/perfdata/ ?

So for some reason there was a swap file created and it did not save my initial change. I have re-run the steps and the npcd service is now running. The performance grapher is back up and the graphs are now populating. Thank you for your help.
