Setting "check_logging = 0" stops NCPA from logging checks, which would stop it from sending it to the DB. If your checks are causing a corruption to the DB for some reason, you should probably leave check_logging disabled. There is no need for it, really. The only small disadvantage of having it disabled is that you won't be able to see the check history in the NCPA interface. This would not have any impact on the actual monitoring whatsoever.
