Next point release

Post by bomahony »

Hey folks

Previously it showed 5.6 being released in Q4. I see from the roadmap that this is now pushed back to Q12019. I am wondering if there is a new point release due before then. I have an outstanding issue for config imports as HostGroups [task_id=13605 https://support.nagios.com/forum/viewto ... 16&t=50502 ].

I am wondering if this will be resolved any time soon? I appreciate you guys are under pressure, and just wondering if the timeframe for resolution is now Q12019. I have been holding back deploying a few environments due to this issue causing me tears and much gnashing of teeth

If the fix is going to be next year, I will probably have to deploy soon to keep the app teams placated.

I just checked with our developers - this feature (task ID: 13605) will be added to Nagios XI 5.6, and yes, the release has been pushed back to Q12019.
