Hi All,
I have two separate NagiosXI v5.5.7 installs.
On Server A, which has been updated to v5.5.7 from v4.something, searching from the Service Detail page for a string in a host alias field will find and list all the correct hosts and show all the services for those hosts.
This is what I have come to expect, and I really like this as it allows me to quickly filter for hosts that are part of a cluster or collectively used to support a specific website.
On Server B, a new server build that started with v5.4.13 (to get Core 4.2.4 for Mod-Gearman support), and has been updated to v5.5.7, the same type of search is not working as expected. And I am perplexed as to why...
Is there a setting I've missed somewhere to enable searching the alias field?
Or have the search functions been changed, or dare I say it, broken?
Anyone have any insights?

Detail page search oddity...
Re: Detail page search oddity...
Two of us tested on XI 5.5.7, with and without Core downgraded to 4.2.4 and they are both working for us.
This may sound dumb but you do have aliases defined on the hosts for the second server, correct? If you start typing in the alias does it show up in the search box below it? Meaning it's showing the alias but it doesn't show on the next page?
If you click on your username in the top right corner, does it make any difference if both of these are checked?
Please PM me a copy of your profile on the one that doesn't work so that I can look through your configuration/logs, you can download it from Admin > System Profile > Download Profile.
Thank you
