Upgrade NagiosXI & CentOS ...

Post by xpertech »

We're going to upgrade the CentOS and NagiosXI(5.4.11 to 5.5.7), what are the better steps for doing this? and what should be noticed?!

Hello @xpertech,

We will be releasing 5.5.8 sometime today or tomorrow, so I would recommend waiting until that version is out before upgrading. The upgrade process is very straightforward. Make sure your system has internet access, back it up and if you're on a VM take a snapshot before proceeding.

What version of CentOS are you upgrading from?

Hello @xpertech

That looks good. As mentioned, if your using a VM take a snapshot or make a backup, and then go to Admin > System Status > Check For Updates.

If you have any issues, please let me know.
