Notifications does not stopped after upgrade Nagios XI 5.5.8

Hi,

I am still getting the Notifications during downtime schedule after upgrading to Nagios XI 5.5.8 from 5.5.1

Kindly help to correct the issue. Thanks.

Hi @akumarhe1868,

On occasion, we see some odd behavior when the system time does not match the PHP time settings, so let's verify that is ok first. Please follow the document below to make sure your system timezone settings are in sync with the PHP timezone settings.

Changing The System Time

If that checks out, you may have multiple Nagios process running. Run the following from the command line:

Code: Select all

service nagios stop
killall -9 nagios
service nagios start

Let me know if you get it resolved.

Regarding the notifications during schedule downtime, can you provide us with any other details? For example, is there any change to notifications during scheduled downtime?

Please verify the time settings, and if that checks out, and stopping/starting Nagios does not resolve the issue, please PM your system profile for us to review. To send us your system profile. Click the "Admin" > "System Profile" Menu Click the "Download Profile" button

To verify the time settings:
Go to Admin > System Config > System Settings > Timezone Settings and check against the system infor (Admin > System Config > System Profile < View System Info . The system time, php time, and php timezone should match.

I could verify the PHP time zone and all looks same as pasted below.

In between, I changed time zone to EST and reverted back to UTC. This created the problem earlier think so.

May I know the process to change the PHP time zone UTC to EST time zone?

System Time: Wed, 02 Jan 2019 10:16:42 +0000
