@hoegh, Thank you. Please set the mail security setting to TLS and try sending a test email. If it doesn't work change the security back to None.
Keep the following command running while you're sending a test email:

Also, send another test email with security settings set to none while that command is running and post any output.tail -F /var/log/maillog /usr/local/nagiosxi/tmp/phpmailer.log /usr/local/nagiosxi/var/eventman.log

To:public $SMTPAutoTLS = true;
And try sending a test email one more time.public $SMTPAutoTLS = false;

We have made changes in the /usr/local/nagiosxi/html/includes/phpmailer/class.phpmailer.php file.
And the issue is resolved now and tickets are generating in Service Now.
