Hi,
We need your support. We have a Nagios XI server on a Vlan and all the servers and clients are on separated vLans.
On a regular basis, Nagios XI loses the connection with the the hosts on the different Vlans, only reaches the hosts on the same vLan.
If we reboot the Nagios XI the connectivity is reestablished and everything works fine.
Can i send the Nagios log for analysis?
Best Regards,
José Carlos

NAGIOS XI - lost network to others vLans
Re: NAGIOS XI - lost network to others vLans
XI itself doesn't care about vlans and this would be a lower OS/network issues. If you restart just the networking services with "service network restart", does connectivity come back? Does the machine loose all connectivity including to the internet? Check /var/log/messages for anything of interest. Also, has the ip address assigned to XI been removed from the dhcp pool?
