I think I found the issue. There was a disabled template which was trying to be added to a host. There was also a hostgroup that was also disabled for a service. I enabled both and applied the configuration which is now working fine. Going back to the licensing problem I found though who should I talk to about the issue?

All licensing issues are handled by our sales team. My understanding is that your current Standard license is active, but the Enterprise functionality has expired. If this is the case, contact our sales team at [email protected]. They will be able to help. Thank you!

Apparently someone removed the enterprise license and sales helped troubelshoot this to get it back in place. Feel free to close this. I appreciate the help.
