Host Group not showing members

if i go to Host Group Management and view a group and trying to view its members the members list is empty.
But if i go in on a host that is suppose to be in the group i can see that it is a member of the group and it is also visible on the groups in the Dashboard.

i just updated to the latest xi release, the behavior was the same before the upgrade.
i have done some import from a old nagios but it dosent seem to make any difference if its a new group or a imported one.

This is a normal behavior. Whether members of a hostgroup will be shown under the Host Group Management will depend on how they were added. There are two ways of doing it - both valid in XI.
Under Host Group Management you can add members to your hostgroup and you will be able to see them in the "Members" list.
Under Host Management you can make a host a member of a hostgroup. In this case this host won't be in the "Members" list under Host Group Management.
Either way is fine. You can even use both methods simultaneously if you wish. Nagios is quite flexible - you can decide what's best for your needs.

Ok, thank you, but is there any way to update the members list under the group management so that it shows all the members ?
This would make management much easier..

In the 2012 release there will be a new CCM that will also show hostgroup relationships. This is due out in the next couple months.
