Errors adding and removing hosts

I ran the commands and found the file:

#       timeperiod_name xi_timeperiod_24x7
[jfonseca@ussecis021 ~]$

I went to the CCM and tried to delete the config but it is not allowing me to. (see image)

I have already opened a ticket 342624 and I'm waiting for support, I have even called but have no phone support on my account. Also, The Nagios daemon is not running (mentioned before) so I need to get this resolved as soon as possible as I have a live operation running blind.

We have done some digging and found that we have several dupe configs on our system that show with space after the hostname within /usr/local/nagios/etc/hosts, like this: " .cfg". Also, my manager went into /usr/local/Nagios/etc/static and commented out the timeperiods inside XIOBJECTS.CFG.
