[Solved] Instant Hard Alert

Post by JGCG »

Hi,

I've noticed that some alerts instantly go into a HARD state reaching their max number of check attempts as soon as the alert occurs, as per the attached screenshot.

Do the attempts not reset after going from Critical to Warning?

Thanks.

Hi @JGCG,

The check attempts do not reset going from Critical to Warning, but when the service returns to an ok state. If you'd like to test this you can go to the service, select the advanced tab and submit a number passive check results to forcefully change the state and view the service details ( check number, state type..etc).

Let me know if you have any other questions or comments.
