monitoring containers in mesos cluster

Hello,

we have a requirement to monitor docker containers running on mesos environment, the "container name" and "container ID" changes dynamically when the container is stopped/started/moved to another node in cluster.

is it possible to monitor the container based on "container Image name", in the docker wizard in nagiosxi 5.5? i do see the wizard takes values as "container name/ID", any help is much appreciated.

in summary we would like to monitor the containers based on Image name not through "container id" or "container name"

if there is any other solution in nagios to monitor containers running in mesos environment please let me know.

The plugin/wizard doesn't currently work with the ImageID but I've submitted a feature request to add it. I know dev is currently working on other features for this plugin/wizard so there's a good chance that it will be added "soon"

That's great news, do you have a rough ETA, by when we can expect this feature? I will let the business know when we can expect this
