Hello,

I have one doubt here.

What is actual IP address in "Add lines like this but using the actual IP address to the end of the hosts file."

IP address of terminal server or IP address of Nagios server?
Thanks & Regards,
I2MP Team.

@RIDS_I2MP, The IP address of the server that this domain name should resolve to:
merch.ricoh-ecommerce-utility.com
When you type the address in your web browser(http://www.merch.ricoh-ecommerce-utility.com) it goes to the DNS server which locates the record that points this web address to the IP address of a server that hosts it.

By creating a manual entry in C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts you are telling your terminal server to use that IP address when check_http tries to resolve merch.ricoh-ecommerce-utility.com.
