Cache Memory for NSCA

Post by evisus »

Hello team! I wonder if there is any way to save a cache or backup history of the data that NSCA transmits to a Nagios server.

I explain myself with the following example:

An NSCA server transmits to Nagios XI on a regular basis, but for different reasons the communication between both servers has been lost for 1 hour (or whatever time), is there any way to transmit to Nagios XI the data that was generated in that hour?

I hope you understand my question

Thank you!!!

NCPA doesn't spool results, if it can't connect because of a network issue it won't submit them, it will then try with new results on the next interval.

Please submit a feature request for this here as I agree that it would be a good feature to have:

Hello @ssax

Sorry for my belated response.

That's right, I was already aware of that limitation of NCPA. My question was to know if there was some other method.

Thanks anyway, I'll post the request in the forum
